Youth Ministry
The primary purpose of Youth Ministry is to engage young people in a relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. The mission is to create a supportive and loving environment where youth can experience God’s love, learn about their faith, and apply it to their everyday lives.
This ministry aims to foster a sense of belonging, develop leadership skills, and encourage youth to serve others
Community and Parental Involvement
Youth Ministry thrives with the support and involvement of the entire church community and parents. Encouraging intergenerational activities, mentoring relationships, and collaboration with other church ministries strengthens the impact of Youth Ministry. Engaging parents in the ministry ensures a holistic approach to the spiritual development of young people.
Opportunities to Serve
Effective Youth Ministry requires ongoing training and development for leaders and volunteers. This includes theological education, youth culture awareness, and skills in counseling, event planning, and communication. Regular training sessions, conferences, and retreats help equip youth leaders to effectively minister to young people and address their unique needs.
The ministry consists of:
- Youth Ministry Leaders
- Mentors
- Tutors
- Youth Peer Leaders
- Sports Coaches
